This code were stamped on VW Engine case egr system, regulation range exceeded It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake control module defective or change motor for intake manifold flap (v157), open / short to ground will delay your vw fault. |

02918 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 02918 Code
- Inspect all the connections intake manifold runner bank 2, high temperature
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
