The problem is about wheel speed signal 3, range / performance retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'f', circuit low or transmission output speed sensor 2 (g196), circuit range / performance is the final reason of the code. |
02917 Possible Causes:
02917 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 02917 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust pressure sensor, low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
