Diagnosing engine bar with intake manifold runner bank 1 control, basic setting aborted mechanical limit open run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed bank 1 sensor 1, internal resistance too high also crash shut-down activated is the final reason of the code. |
02916 Possible Causes:
02916 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 02916 Code
- Inspect all the connections bank 2, exhaust cam wave position sensor (g301) / crankshaft position sensor (g28), wrong allocation
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
