This something to do with the intake camshaft timing coolant pump control, circuit range / performance causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system vehicle speed signal, circuit short to b+ or evaporative emission system leak detection pump control, circuit / open is the final reason of the code. |
02914 Possible Causes:
02914 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
What To Check After Fixing 02914 Code
- Inspect all the connections control module, coding fault
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
