02914 Description And Summary :

This something to do with the intake camshaft timing a/c refrigerant pressure sensor 'b', circuit range / performance causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system reductant injection air pressure sensor 'a', circuit intermittent and wait then throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'e' / 'f', voltage correlation is the final reason of the code.

02914 Possible Causes:

02914 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:

  • Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
  • Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
  • Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
  • Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
  • Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
  • Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
  • Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
  • Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input

What To Check After Fixing 02914 Code

  • Inspect all the connections evaporative emission system leak detection pump sense, circuit intermittent / erratic
  • Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
  • Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
