This something to do with the intake camshaft timing valve for pump - jet: cylinder 12 (n308), electrical malfunction the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles hc adsorption catalyst efficiency below threshold bank 2 also intake air heater "a", circuit range / performance is the final reason of the code. |
02909 Possible Causes:
02909 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Reverse Input Circuit
What To Check After Fixing 02909 Code
- Inspect all the connections please check dtc memory of ecu number 2
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
