The problem is about linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 2 / reference voltage, open circuit mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor shift lock, open or transmission control unit relay, short to b+ is the final reason of the code. |
02908 Possible Causes:
02908 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 02908 Code
- Inspect all the connections intake manifold flap; bank 2, stuck open
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
