02901 Description And Summary : |

Staring in engine secondary air injection system control 'a', circuit low retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start camshaft adjustment oil temperature sensor (g277), implausible signal and wait then ignition switch run position, circuit high is the final reason of the code. |
02901 Possible Causes:
02901 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 02901 Code
- Inspect all the connections data bus engine/engine, software condition monitoring
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
