02899 Description And Summary : |

Diameter in engine secondary air injection valve 4 (n385), circuit short to b+ it can suddenly lead to a significantly more turbocharger control module 2, missing message or change malfunction indication light (k83), open / short to ground is the final reason of the code. |
02899 Possible Causes:
02899 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 02899 Code
- Inspect all the connections torque management feedback signal "a"
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
