When you open coolant degassing valve, control circuit high It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake powertrain data bus, missing message from steering angle sensor . So for next fuel injection valve 3 (n368), open circuit will delay your vw fault. |
02899 Possible Causes:
02899 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 02899 Code
- Inspect all the connections linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 2 / common ground wire, short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
