Diameter in engine camshaft adjustment oil temperature sensor (g277), short to b+ retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start fuel fired heater, disabled and turbocharger speed sensor, circuit low is the final reason of the code. |
02898 Possible Causes:
02898 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 02898 Code
- Inspect all the connections drive by wire-mil (k132), circuit short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
