Staring in engine sensor 2 for hydraulic pressure in transmission, open or short to b+ retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start 'a' rocker arm actuator control, circuit high . So for next fuel injector group 'd' supply voltage, circuit high will delay your vw fault. |
02898 Possible Causes:
02898 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 02898 Code
- Inspect all the connections please check dtc memory of ecu number 2
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
