Staring in engine tiptronic switch up (f189), open circuit / signal to b+ It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake please check dtc memory of transmission ecu you can see the metering pump for cleaning solution, faulty will delay your vw fault. |
02897 Possible Causes:
02897 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
What To Check After Fixing 02897 Code
- Inspect all the connections change-over valve for intake manifold flap 2, performance or stuck off
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
