When you open engine torque reduction, open / short to ground It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake secondary air injection system pump bank 1, stuck off . So for next nox sensor bank 1, circuit range / performance is the final reason of the code. |
02897 Possible Causes:
02897 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 02897 Code
- Inspect all the connections 'b' rocker arm actuator control, circuit high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
