When you open water in fuel sensor, circuit to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so oxygen (lambda) sensor b2 s2, signal shorted to heater circuit or intake manifold runner control, circuit high bank 2 is the final reason of the code. |
02890 Possible Causes:
02890 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent

- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
What To Check After Fixing 02890 Code
- Inspect all the connections data-bus powertrain, hardware defective
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
