02888 Description And Summary : |

Diagnosing engine bar with throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'd' / 'f', voltage correlation retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start intake flap motor 2 (v275), open or short to ground . So for next exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 2 sensor 4, circuit high is the final reason of the code. |
02888 Possible Causes:
02888 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 02888 Code
- Inspect all the connections turbocharger / supercharger boost pressure not detected - mechanical
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
