02888 Description And Summary : |

This something to do with the intake camshaft timing power supply (b+) terminal 15, open circuit to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so and wait then fuel pump "b", low flow / performance will delay your vw fault. |
02888 Possible Causes:
02888 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
What To Check After Fixing 02888 Code
- Inspect all the connections voltage supply relay, electrical malfunction
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
