Accumulated in electronic control units so o2 sensor pumping current trim bank 1 sensor 1, circuit low mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor exhaust bank 1/2 lambda probes after kat exchanges you can see the engine torque reduction, open / short to ground will delay your vw fault. |
02887 Possible Causes:
02887 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
What To Check After Fixing 02887 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust bank 4 sensor 1 heater circuit, short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
