When you open glow plug/heater relay 2 circuit, open or short to ground causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 2 / reference voltage, implausible also control module 2 for cooling fan, excess temperature is the final reason of the code. |
02883 Possible Causes:
02883 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 02883 Code
- Inspect all the connections o2 sensor reference voltage bank 2 sensor 1, circuit / open
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
