The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault ignition switch run position, circuit low mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor throttle/pedal position sensor 'a', minimum stop performance or change injector cylinder 15 (n392), open circuit will delay your vw fault. |
02883 Possible Causes:
02883 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 02883 Code
- Inspect all the connections throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'e', circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
