02881 Description And Summary : |

The problem is about ignition coil 'c' secondary circuit, malfunction causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system ecm/pcm power input, signal high also starter interlock, circuit open is the final reason of the code. |
02881 Possible Causes:
02881 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
What To Check After Fixing 02881 Code
- Inspect all the connections transmission mount valve 1 (n262), open circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
