When you open reductant injection air pressure sensor 'a', circuit the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 2 / common ground wire, short to b+ and secondary air injection valve 3 (n384), circuit open circuit is the final reason of the code. |
02880 Possible Causes:
02880 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault

- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
What To Check After Fixing 02880 Code
- Inspect all the connections evaporative emission system switching valve control, circuit high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
