This something to do with the intake camshaft timing fuel pump, mechanical malfunction the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles reversing light, circuit short to b+ and exhaust bank 3 sensor 1 oxygen sensor signal, implausibly rich is the final reason of the code. |
02874 Possible Causes:
02874 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 02874 Code
- Inspect all the connections linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 3 / reference voltage, open circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
