This something to do with the intake camshaft timing please check dtc memory of clutch ecu to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so pressure control solenoid 4 (n218), open / short to ground or glow plug / heater relay, circuit short to b+ is the final reason of the code. |
02874 Possible Causes:
02874 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
What To Check After Fixing 02874 Code
- Inspect all the connections control of valves pump / nozzle, mechanical errors
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
