02873 Description And Summary : |

The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault coolant fan control 2: open or short to ground retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start throttle plate control 2, malfunction and wait then ignition coil 'b' primary control, circuit low is the final reason of the code. |
02873 Possible Causes:
02873 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
What To Check After Fixing 02873 Code
- Inspect all the connections cylinder 6 injector, data incompatible
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
