The problem is about fuel pump "b" control, circuit / open retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start data bus powertrain missing message from awd controller . So for next valve for pump - jet: cylinder 10 (n306), circuit low input is the final reason of the code. |
02872 Possible Causes:
02872 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
What To Check After Fixing 02872 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust turbocharger control module 1 (j724), high temperature
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
