02870 Description And Summary : |

The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault fuel injection valve 3 (n368), short to ground the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles injection pump, fuel calibration not learned or change signal buzzer activation, short to b+ is the final reason of the code. |
02870 Possible Causes:
02870 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 02870 Code
- Inspect all the connections a/c refrigerant distribution valve control, circuit high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
