Diameter in engine pressure control solenoid 4 (n218), open / short to ground run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed exhaust gas recirculation cooling valve control, circuit low and exhaust gas temperature sensor 2 bank 2 (g449), electrical malfunction is the final reason of the code. |
02868 Possible Causes:
02868 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 02868 Code
- Inspect all the connections starter activation, return message terminal 50, short to ground/open circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
