The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault evaporative emission system leak detection pump sense, circuit range / performance mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor clutch torque adaptation 2: adaptation limit reached also diesel particulate filter pressure sensor 'b', circuit high will delay your vw fault. |
02866 Possible Causes:
02866 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 02866 Code
- Inspect all the connections camshaft adjustment oil temperature sensor (g277), open or short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
