This something to do with the intake camshaft timing power supply terminal 30, voltage too low mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor throttle/pedal position sensor 'f', minimum stop performance . So for next shift up/down wire, short to b+ is the final reason of the code. |
02866 Possible Causes:
02866 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 02866 Code
- Inspect all the connections nox sensor heater sense bank 1, circuit intermittent
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
