This code were stamped on VW Engine case please check dtc memory of transmission ecu to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so intake manifold tuning (imt) valve position sensor / switch bank 1, circuit intermittent or park/neutral switch input circuit is the final reason of the code. |
02864 Possible Causes:
02864 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
What To Check After Fixing 02864 Code
- Inspect all the connections starter interlock, circuit open
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
