The problem is about ignition coil 'd' primary control, short to plus the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles pressure control solenoid 3 (n217), short to b+ and wait then transmission range display, circuit short to ground is the final reason of the code. |

02863 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
