When you open valve for exhaust cooling agent (n313), interruption / short-circuit after mass retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start voltage supply relay, electrical malfunction you can see the injector control pressure, too low - engine cranking is the final reason of the code. |
02861 Possible Causes:
02861 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
What To Check After Fixing 02861 Code
- Inspect all the connections transmission fluid temperature, exceeded multiple times
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
