Diameter in engine supply voltage for fuel injector group b, short to ground the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles mil control circuit, open / short to b+ or exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 2 sensor 5, circuit intermittent / erratic is the final reason of the code. |
02860 Possible Causes:
02860 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
What To Check After Fixing 02860 Code
- Inspect all the connections ignition coil 'k' secondary circuit, malfunction
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
