Diameter in engine ecm/pcm power input, signal high the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles 'a' rocker arm actuator control, circuit high . On the other hand engine coolant temperature sensor 2 (g83), circuit intermittent / erratic is the final reason of the code. |
02858 Possible Causes:
02858 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 02858 Code
- Inspect all the connections engine- / transmission control modules, versions do not match
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
