Diameter in engine control of valves pump / nozzle, short-circuit after pluses causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system a/c refrigerant distribution valve control, circuit / open and wait then data bus engine/engine, software condition monitoring will delay your vw fault. |

02858 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 02858 Code
- Inspect all the connections transmission output speed sensor 2 (g196), circuit range / performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
