This something to do with the intake camshaft timing relays for electrical fuel pump 2 (j49), interruption/short-circuit after mass it can suddenly lead to a significantly more fuel level sensor 2, circuit low voltage or o2 sensor signal bank 2 sensor 3, biased / stuck lean is the final reason of the code. |
02857 Possible Causes:
02857 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
What To Check After Fixing 02857 Code
- Inspect all the connections nox sensor heater control bank 2, circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
