02856 Possible Causes:
02856 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
What To Check After Fixing 02856 Code
- Inspect all the connections intake air heater "a", circuit range / performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
