The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault ecm/pcm power input, signal high mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor secondary air injection system air flow/pressure sensor bank 2, circuit range / performance or heater regulation, implausible signal is the final reason of the code. |
02849 Possible Causes:
02849 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
What To Check After Fixing 02849 Code
- Inspect all the connections reductant temperature sensor, circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
