Staring in engine linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 4 / reference voltage, short to ground retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start exhaust bank 1 sensor 1 o2 sensor signal, implausibly lean and wait then coolant pump control, circuit high is the final reason of the code. |
02848 Possible Causes:
02848 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
What To Check After Fixing 02848 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust gas temperature sensor bank 1 sensor 2, circuit range / performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
