02848 Description And Summary : |

When you open accelerator position sensor (g79), signal too low retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start air cleaner inlet control, circuit low and wait then direct ozone reduction catalyst temperature sensor, circuit low is the final reason of the code. |
02848 Possible Causes:
02848 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 02848 Code
- Inspect all the connections fuel pressure regulator 2 control circuit high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
