The problem is about 'a' rocker arm actuator control, circuit / open It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake secondary air injection system pump bank 2, stuck off you can see the fuel shutoff valve "b" control, circuit / open is the final reason of the code. |
02847 Possible Causes:
02847 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical

What To Check After Fixing 02847 Code
- Inspect all the connections o2 sensor signal bank 1 sensor 2, biased / stuck rich
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
