Accumulated in electronic control units so exhaust gas temperature sensor bank 2 sensor 1, circuit range / performance run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed outside temperature sensor 2 (g249), short to ground also evaporative emission system leak detection pump sense, circut high will delay your vw fault. |

02846 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
What To Check After Fixing 02846 Code
- Inspect all the connections secondary air injection system switching valve bank 2, stuck open
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
