This code were stamped on VW Engine case cam shaft position sensor (g40), signal outside of the tolerance It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake rough road / acceleration sensor, electrical malfunction . On the other hand mass-airflow sensor 4 (g457), signal to low will delay your vw fault. |

02841 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 02841 Code
- Inspect all the connections actuator supply voltage 'c', circuit / open
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
