When you open outside temperature sensor 2 (g249), short to ground causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 2 sensor 4, circuit low and valve for pump - jet: cylinder 11 (n307), range / performance will delay your vw fault. |
02839 Possible Causes:
02839 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
What To Check After Fixing 02839 Code
- Inspect all the connections evaporative emissions (evap) fuel vapour temperature sensor, circuit intermittent
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
