The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault interference in mechatronic module it can suddenly lead to a significantly more exhaust gas recirculation cooling valve control, circuit low and wait then turbocharger boost control position sensor 'b', circuit low will delay your vw fault. |
02838 Possible Causes:
02838 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 02838 Code
- Inspect all the connections throttle actuator control system, stuck closed
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
