This something to do with the intake camshaft timing signal buzzer activation, short to b+ to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so transmission control unit relay, malfunction you can see the 'b' rocker arm actuator control, circuit low is the final reason of the code. |
02831 Possible Causes:
02831 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 02831 Code
- Inspect all the connections o2 sensor exhaust sample error bank 2 sensor 1
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
