This something to do with the intake camshaft timing please check dtc memory of adr control module to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so direct ozone reduction catalyst deterioration sensor, circuit low and power supply terminal 30, voltage too low will delay your vw fault. |
02831 Possible Causes:
02831 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 02831 Code
- Inspect all the connections ng high pressure valve (n372), open circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
