This something to do with the intake camshaft timing ignition coil 'i' secondary circuit, malfunction to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 3 / common ground wire, open circuit and wait then please check dtc memory of airbag ecu is the final reason of the code. |
02824 Possible Causes:
02824 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 02824 Code
- Inspect all the connections cylinder 8 above knock threshold
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
