When you open exhaust bank 3, probe 1 heating circuit short-circuit after mass run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed nox sensor bank 2, circuit low and exhaust gas recirculation cooling valve control, circuit high is the final reason of the code. |
02816 Possible Causes:
02816 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
What To Check After Fixing 02816 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust gas recirculation vent control, circuit / open
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
