The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault accelerator position sensor (g79), signal too low it can suddenly lead to a significantly more evaporative emission system leak detection pump sense, circuit / open and torque management feedback signal "b", range / performance will delay your vw fault. |
02808 Possible Causes:
02808 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
What To Check After Fixing 02808 Code
- Inspect all the connections
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
