The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault please check dtc memory of instrument panel ecu to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so please check dtc memory of brake system ecu also exhaust bank 4 oxygen sensor before catalyst, heater circuit, regulation at lower limit will delay your vw fault. |
02802 Possible Causes:
02802 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
What To Check After Fixing 02802 Code
- Inspect all the connections engine temperature too low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
