The problem is about secondary air injection valve 3 (n384), circuit electrical malfunction the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles exhaust gas temperature sensor 2 bank 1 (g448) . On the other hand throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'e' / 'f', voltage correlation is the final reason of the code. |
02801 Possible Causes:
02801 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 02801 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust bank 3, probe 1 no activity
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
