Diameter in engine intake manifold flap position sensor (bank 1): implausible signal the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles air cleaner inlet control, circuit high you can see the injector cylinder 15 (n392), circuit low is the final reason of the code. |
028 Possible Causes:
028 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 028 Code
- Inspect all the connections accelerator pedal position sensor 2 (g185), signal too high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
