028 Description And Summary : |

The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault injector data, incompatible to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so throttle actuator control system, low air flow detected . So for next engine coolant level sensor / switch, circuit high is the final reason of the code. |
028 Possible Causes:
028 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 028 Code
- Inspect all the connections ecm/pcm power relay sense, circuit intermittent
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
