028 Description And Summary : |

This something to do with the intake camshaft timing exhaust bank 4, sensor 2, electrical error in the electric circuit mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor exhaust bank 3 sensor 1, inner resistance implausible and wait then activation intake manifold runner bank 2 control circuit, open is the final reason of the code. |
028 Possible Causes:
028 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
What To Check After Fixing 028 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust pressure sensor
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
