Diameter in engine throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'e', circuit intermittent It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake bank 1 sensor 1, internal resistance too high . So for next exhaust gas temperature sensor bank 1 sensor 2, circuit intermittent is the final reason of the code. |
02798 Possible Causes:
02798 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
What To Check After Fixing 02798 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust gas temperature, bank 1 sensor 1, out of range
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
