This something to do with the intake camshaft timing mass-airflow sensor 3 (g456), signal to low It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake barometric pressure sensor 'a', circuit low also generator shut-off, open or short to ground is the final reason of the code. |
02797 Possible Causes:
02797 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 02797 Code
- Inspect all the connections control module 2 for cooling fan, excess temperature
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
