Diagnosing engine bar with exhaust bank 4, sensor 1, electrical error in the electric circuit causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system oxygen (lambda) sensor b1 s2, signal shorted to heater circuit and coolant fan (v7), open circuit is the final reason of the code. |
02796 Possible Causes:
02796 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 02796 Code
- Inspect all the connections fuel rail sensor (g401), short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
