Staring in engine transmission output speed sensor 2 (g196), no signal causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system activation, intake manifold runner bank 2 control, range / performance and throttle actuator control system, sudden high air flow detected is the final reason of the code. |

02789 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:

- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction

- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
What To Check After Fixing 02789 Code
- Inspect all the connections diesel particulate filter differential pressure too high bank 2
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
