This code were stamped on VW Engine case reductant injection valve bank 1 unit 2, circuit high retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start coolant circulation pump relay (j151), open circuit or throttle angle signal stuck on is the final reason of the code. |
02788 Possible Causes:
02788 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 02788 Code
- Inspect all the connections throttle/pedal position sensor 'a', maximum stop performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
