The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 1 sensor 5, circuit / open causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system injector cylinder 15 (n392), circuit high or exhaust bank 1/2 lambda probes before kat exchanges will delay your vw fault. |
02783 Possible Causes:
02783 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 02783 Code
- Inspect all the connections diesel particulate filter pressure sensor 'a', circuit high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
