The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 2 sensor 5, circuit / open mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor control module 1 for cooling fan, excess temperature you can see the controller pin coding, implausible signal will delay your vw fault. |
02771 Possible Causes:
02771 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 02771 Code
- Inspect all the connections oxygen (lambda) sensor b1 s1, pump current, short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
